The leak has revealed that The Huawei P40 Pro will come with a 6.5-inch curved screen on its side edges. This will be OLED technology and will support QuadHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It may also offer a high screen-to-body ratio of around 98% and a pill-shaped screen hole for its dual selfie sensor.
The Kirin 990 mobile platform with 5G support is expected to be the one housed in the Huawei P40 series. The rear panel of the Huawei P40 Pro could be equipped with a Leica-designed penta lens setup that can include 700MP Sony IMX686 or IMX64 primary lenses with OIS support and RYYB color arrangement, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a telephoto lens. 12 megapixel periscope, a macro lens and a ToF sensor. The rear cameras can support 4K video recording. Also, the leak indicates that the Huawei P40 series will run on Android 10 customized with the EMUI 10 skin.
The leak has no information on the release date and price of the Huawei P40 series, but March is expected to be the approximate launch month in which it becomes official on the market.
