Huawei recently launched its new flagship P30 series, which consists of two high-end smartphones in addition to the lightweight version: the P30 and the P30 Pro. These are scheduled to come out on sale in China from April 11. Meanwhile, the company is preparing to launch the devices in other markets as well.

Now, a new report from a local publication in China reveals that the company has prepared a stock of around 6 million units of these. However, the stock is for global markets and not just for China.

The report also adds that the Chinese giant aims to sell more than 20 million units of the P30 series smartphones this year.

Most of these mobiles are produced at Foxconn's Zhengzhou plant in Henan. The same plant is known to be the main source of Apple's iPhone, but it appears that Huawei is taking advantage of Foxconn's capacity and production line following the sharp drop in demand for iPhone orders.

Right now, Huawei is supplying the P30 series units, as it is about to go on sale in several countries. To meet demand and ensure smoother production and supply chain operations, it is recruiting people and is estimated to have more than 50,000 employees working on it.

The Huawei P30 will be available in three variants in China: 8GB of RAM + 64GB of storage for 3,988 yuan (approximately $ 590); 8 GB RAM + 128 GB model for 4.488 yuan (approximately $ 665); and the 8GB RAM + 256GB model priced at 4,988 yuan (~ $ 740).

On the other hand, the Huawei P30 Pro will arrive in China in the following options: 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage; 8 GB of RAM + 256 GB of storage; and 8 GB of RAM + 512 GB of storage. The phones are expected to be priced at 5,588 yuan (~ $ 820), 6,288 yuan (approximately $ 935), and 6,988 yuan (approximately $ 1,040), respectively.

Recently, during the AWE 2019 Conference in Shanghai, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business, revealed that the company plans to sell more than 250 million to 260 million units of its smartphones, in a combined sale of Huawei and Honor devices. With this, the company aims to become the best smartphone brand or get a close second place.
