Oppo unveiled its 10X lossless zoom camera technology, in Barcelona, during MWC 2019. The technology was well received, especially as the shared samples show that the technology has been well developed.
As with other innovations, this technology might not be exclusive to Oppo smartphones for long. Even before the Chinese company launches a phone with the feature in April, there are indications that Huawei could launch the P30 Pro with a periscope lens that would allow the device to achieve better photos with 10X zoom.
Huawei's Brue Lee, who is the vice president of the mobile phone product line, may have shared the samples captured from the device on Weibo. The executive recently shared four photos of the 5G signal tower that the company and Vodafone installed together. A careful look at the samples showed that they were captured at different focal lengths. This includes 10x zoom, 5x zoom, no zoom, and a super wide angle photo. This is a clear sign that el P30 Pro you will get 10X zoom function.
