Huawei officially presents the Huawei P8

After publishing several leaks about the new flagship of the Chinese manufacturer, today it has finally been officially presented to the public. During the event held in the capital of the United Kingdom, the Chinese company has shown that its terminal has a lot to say in the high-end of Android.

This new device is a worthy successor to the Huawei P7 both in the physical section and in the hardware section. The terminal has some lines that are reminiscent of Apple's Iphone 6 with a very thin metal unibody body.

After many leaks about the appearance of the terminal as well as its possible specifications, we can finally confirm how it will be and that it will incorporate this new flagship of the Chinese brand. To begin with, the device will have a metal body from which the battery cannot be removed or what comes to the same thing, a unibody body. This body will compose it a 5,2 ″ inch screen with 1080p resolution with IPS panel. As can be seen in the official photos of the terminal, the device will hardly have frames on the sides of the screen, so we will have a feeling that the entire front of the P8 is all screen.

If we continue looking at the specifications of the terminal we find a Kirin 930 processor with 64-bit eight-core architecture and made by the company itself, 3 GB RAM memory, battery 2680 mAh and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded through a micro SD slot. Regarding the photographic section, we find a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Dual Flash and an 8 MP front camera for selfies.

The Huawei P8 will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop under the company's own customization EMUI 3.1 and will be available in the colors: champagne, black, gold and gray and a premium version with gold colors. The starting price will be €499 for the most basic colored version and €599 for the premium version. As for its availability, the P8 will be available in May. Curiously, this month of May will be special for the company since it is the month marked on the calendar to release its first smart watch, the Huawei Watch. We will have to wait until next month to be able to carry out a more extensive review of the new flagship of the Chinese brand. And to you, What do you think of the new Huawei P8 ?
