There is already an official release date for the Huawei Mate X2, the next folding smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer, and this corresponds to the 22 February, a day that, at the time of publication of this article, is a little less than three weeks away, so there is little left to fully know it.
However, before that date arrives, we already know some of the main characteristics and technical specifications of this terminal or, rather, we know what we could expect from it, since what is available so far is what has been leaked in the latter months, and then we will tell you about it.
The Huawei Mate X2 will be an advanced and expensive folding mobile
We can't expect much from the Huawei Mate X2, really. With this device we will be receiving the best of the best, which would negatively affect its price, and we say "negatively" because this insurance would be around 2.000-2.500 euros at its release, if we base ourselves on what we saw with the Mate
This smartphone is said to feature a screen with a diagonal of 8.01 inches and a FullHD + resolution of 2,480 x 2,220 pixels. The front of this, on the other hand, would have a 6.45-inch panel, also with FullHD + resolution, but 2,270 x 1,160 pixels.
The mobile platform with which the Mate X2 would be launched could be the Kirin 9000 5nm, the most advanced processor chipset of the brand that can work at a maximum clock frequency of 3.13 GHz thanks to one of its eight cores.
The front camera of the device has been mentioned as a 16 MP, while a four-camera system, which would have a main 50 MP, a 16 MP lens for wide-angle photos, a 12 MP shutter-release and a sensor for 8 MP, could be available on the rear of the Mate X2. In addition, the battery would have a capacity of 4.400 mAh with a fast charge of 65 W. We will see if all this agrees with the characteristics and final specifications of the phone at its official launch moment.
