Just a few hours ago, Zhang Ping, president of Huawei's consumer enterprise cloud service, used the Mate X to test 5G speeds in Wuzhen, China. The screenshot he leaked shows that the download speed of the Mate X is close to 750 MB / s.
Recall that the Mate X is Huawei's first 5G folding screen smartphone. In turn, it is the industry's first 5G dual-mode mobile to support NSA and SA. More importantly, it supports dual SIM dual standby card and supports 5G and 4G network standards around the world.
To keep in mind, the Mate X features a foldable 'eagle wing' design (so named by many) with a four-layer structure: the top layer is a polymer screen protector, the second layer is a flexible screen, and the third layer is a bottom soft support sheet. The first layer is the shaft. As a precision transmission component, the shaft is the core of the device and is of central importance.
The official emphasizes that this high-performance terminal maintains a fully symmetrical full screen shape, either in the folded or unfolded state, thanks to the cover design of the hinge part. In addition, it supports multi-tasking and split-screen navigation, allowing users to open different applications on the left and right sides of the screen to operate different tasks simultaneously.
Finally, regarding its definitive launch on the market, The Mate X is reportedly going to be officially unveiled later this month and it's worth the wait.
