Goodbye Huawei

Everything seems to indicate that after the presentation of the new Huawei flagships, which will be relegated to its own services, it will be the end for this brand in these parts. An outstanding brand for having embedded, but well, in our country and part of the world.

We could say that in a few months we could install Google apps on our brand new Mate 30, but let's be clear, it has also been done on the Amazon Fire tablet giving the option of having Google Maps, YouTube and all those beloved apps from the great G. But, What about battery consumption? That skyrockets, at least on that Amazon product.

If we go to China, the story for Huawei does not change, since there they have their own YouTube clones and more apps, and companies like Xiaomi and it, have their own services to give the same experiences that we take when we use our smartwatch, our bracelet, our smartphone and the rest of the devices.

But everything changes in Europe, where if you don't have Google Play Services, you won't have sales. It is that cruel and harsh, but until the problems between China and the United States are solved, all those users who have relegated to the Chinese brand will have to start looking for a replacement.

That we return to what was said, you can install Google apps through APKs, you will install APKtoide to update them and voila, but forget about battery consumption. You will compare Huawei's flagships to Samsung's, and there will be no color. And without your 5-6 hours of screen, your smartphone is almost worthless.

Obsessed with launching in Europe

As we do not understand Huawei's efforts to launch its two new flagships. We can understand that they want to minimize losses and make it understood that they will look for them so that that 1.100 euro phone has some value when you can use Maps and other apps. But, really, is anyone going to spend that money to not be able to install any of the Google apps? (which can be done, but will the average user do it?).

The truth that the monopoly that is subject to those Google Services sounds bad. And we can get positive things out of all this, like really realizing how dependent we are on the United States today. Europe has lagged behind in this software thing, and sooner or later we will end up paying for it. We have seen how Microsoft has had to pay millionaire fines for monopoly years ago, but Google is taking other directions; and although we like their colors, their logos and more so much.

Huawei has shown us in these monthsIf you don't have Google Play Services, you are nobody. Ah, yes, we have Apple, but if we seek to be in the latest technology and continue with our beloved Android, will we go to the Cupertino shore?

A shame

Although we have been quite frank in how we currently see The situation of Huawei, we are not going to ignore that the position of this brand, if it is capable of resurfacing in some way in Europe, is more than important to force Samsung to scratch its pockets and spend huge amounts on innovating; or that Apple itself realizes that as it does not change, it will be a matter of years in which it is definitely in the background.

Huawei has been a perfect example of how in a matter of 5 years it has been able to dominate markets around the world. But it is also clear, at least for others like Xiaomi, where you do not have to get into so that they close your way.

Hopefully we will soon learn that China's ban on Google in their country ends and that the United States changes its nonsense because of its president, and everything returns to its normal course.
