Huawei suffers but does not pray. The company is coping with the predicament that the United States imposed on it in a tough way several weeks ago, with multiple moves of pieces on the board.
Two of these are the development of your own mobile operating system, due to the future absence of Android in its next releases, and the expansion of its own application store, for which the company is asking developers to help its growth and publish applications in it. The information has been leaked thanks to an email brought to light by the forum XDA-Developers. It shows that Huawei presents the offer as a opportunity for app developers to reach 350 million phones shipped in the last 2 years, in order to show them a juicy apple and convince them to post to the company's AppGallery store.
Huawei revealed that the largest amount of that figure is in the western market. Therefore, more than half (about 175 million terminals), are not there. In turn, it boasts about 560,000 developers currently in its store. However, most of them would be Chinese. Therefore, the company is also promoting the offer to developers from other parts of the world, to further enrich the AppGallery with more diverse content.
The request that the Chinese technology giant is making is focused on getting users' interest by letting them know that your store can be as vast as Google's Play Store. It is known that Huawei will now compete against Google, due to the fact that it will soon launch its own operating system for smartphones, and will continue to seek to keep its users in its power.
