The best thing is that we select the option "without files", since in this way the conversation will weigh less, and we are left with what really matters, which are the messages. If we have selected email, Gmail will open and we can send the conversation to whoever we want, which in this case is ourselves. In case the files are important, you must select this option. But we warn that the process will take much longer in this case.
Then, once we have sent the message, we simply have to copy the content of it. And subsequently we can paste this content in a simple way in a document in Word. The format of the conversation will not be affected in any way. We can then save these messages in a Word document, which is much more convenient for us to print or simply in case we have to open it in the future.

If it is more comfortable for you, you can paste the content of the conversation into a document in Google Drive, which then lets us download it in various formats, which is much easier later when working.
