There are many shortcuts to make a quick phone call, avoiding entering the contacts tab in our Android terminal. One of them is the organize contacts in folders, a utility that we have at our fingertips on any device with a Google operating system.
If you already have the applications organized You can also do it with the most frequent contacts, you can have one or several in the same folder, adding the desired contacts whenever you want. Imagine having those contacts of family, friends or acquaintances just over a click away, we just have to click on them to call them.
How to organize contacts in folders
The Contacts app is pre-installed on our Android phone, we will use it to carry out the process in a few steps in this small tutorial. If we don't have the Google Contacts application, we can download it from the Play Store and it only weighs a few megabytes.
Open the application Contacts > Click on the contact you want send to the home screen, on the contact screen click on the button at the top right. In the menu select the “Add to home screen” option, you have to repeat this step with all the contacts that you want to organize in folders.
On the home screen, press for several seconds on one of the contacts and move it to another contact to create a new folder, it will be worth it to create the folder. Once created, you can adjust the name to give it a more consistent name, we can choose "Relevant contacts" or another name.
A folder for all types of use
Creating it will take us a prudent time, but it is essential to follow the step by step to create it correctly and you can add all the contacts, either the first time or later.
