A short time ago it became known that the first custom ROM for the LG G Watch is available. All a record is the first ROM for this new smartwatch from LG under Android Wear. Among the features that it brings, there is an improvement in the general performance of the smartwatch, improvements in vibration and the transitions between the cards, counting on the fact that the battery consumption of the wearable is also reduced. So we are facing a great ROM from what we can see of it.
Keep in mind that you have the ROM installed, you will lose the warranty. In any case, you can return to having the watch as it was when you turned it on for the first time, and the only thing that we do have to remind you is that you have to have the bootloader unlocked to be able to flash this first Android Wear ROM on your newly acquired LG G Watch.

Important things to consider before flashing
- Have the bootloader unlocked
- The clock does not need to have ROOT since the ROM script will do it by itself
- Download Universal ADB Drivers from this link
- We will update the entry to be able to return to the stock ROM that the G Watch brings since the developer has to update its entry
- You can install an OTA update that reaches the phone, but you will have to flash the ROM again
- The developer will update the ROM as new updates are released
How to enable ADB Debugging
- Click on the Google Search clock to get to Settings> About
- Press 7 times on build number to activate developer options
- Go back to settings and go to Developer options and activate ADB Debugging
How to unlock the bootloader
- Activate ADB Debugging as mentioned above
- Download the ROM from this link to Drive or this one to Mega. Extract the ZIP file
- Open the command window from the folder where you have extracted the ZIP file with the key combination Shift + right mouse button. Choose "open command window here" from the popup menu when using that key combination
- From that command window you launch the command written "adb reboot-bootloader" (you will need to give permission to the connections for your phone)
- Once the clock restarts to the bootloader, type the command in the command window: "fastboot oem unlock"
- Choose "yes" and it will unlock the bootloader while doing a factory reset of the watch. You will have to re-sync it with your phone
Install ROM in Windows
- Restart the computer so there are no extra apps running
- Make sure the windows drivers are installed
- USB Debugging enabled on the clock
- Connect the watch to the USB output of the computer
- Run the Windows_installer.bat file
Install ROM on Linux and Mac OX
- Follow the same steps as the installation on Windows, but you must run the file linux_installer.sh for Linux, and for Mac OX the osx_installer.sh
