[Video] How to install Android 4.4.2 on your PC and not die trying

On the occasion of the official release of the latest stable version of Android 4.4.2 KiaKat x86, that is, the version compatible with all personal computers with x86 architecture, today I am going to teach you through several video tutorials, the way to install Android 4.4.2 on our personal computers without dying in the attempt.

The process, although simple for most users, can be somewhat complicated for novice users or those who do not have basic notions to install a new operating system. That is why I have decided to create this tutorial step by step where I explain the process to follow in a totally simple way with several videos for example create a Bootable USB with the ISO of Android 4.4.2, how to create a new partition where to install Android, and finally the complete tutorial to install this version of Android, starting from the BIOS to tell our computer from where it must boot to correctly execute the Android installer previously recorded in the bootable Pen Drive .

Tell them that this tutorial has been created to install Android 4.4.2 on a Samsung N-450 notebook with only 1 Gb of RAM and the end result has been excellent. Likewise, tell them that the tutorial is valid to install on any personal computer, be it desktop PC or laptop and have whatever operating system installed since we are not going to delete it but to create a new partition and then select a system with which to start the computer.

Although the options to boot from the BIOS may be somewhat different depending on the computer model in which we are going to install this version of Android 4.4.2 for PC.

Step 1: Download the necessary files

The files necessary to install Android 4.4.2 on our PC are limited to an executable that will be used to create our Bootable USB, in addition to the own Android 4.4.2 KitKat system image for X86 architectures.

Step 2: Creating the Bootable USB with the Android 4.4.2 image

Step 3: Partitioning the hard drive

Step 4: Installing Android 4.4.2 on a personal computer

If you have followed all the steps indicated in the attached videos, at this point You can now enjoy the new stable version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat specially designed for personal computers, whether they are desktop computers or any type of laptop.

I tested it yesterday and it is not compatible with a PC with a wired network, nor does the ATI video card take me.
I could only see it in VESA live cd mode. It is only for special notebooks

I hope you can help me, my laptop has windows 8.
when creating the partition to install android, and in the video it says that one has to change from NFTS to FAT32, but on my laptop only the NFTS and exFAT appear. (From here I would have a problem ????)
In the end I put exFAT and everything continued as it should.
2.- to configure the bios I tried modifying the USB positions, but it would start windows anyway, so until I changed from UEFO to Legacy, there if I started from the USB (what problems would I have for this)
3.- When wanting to choose the partition, only 3 options appear, the first said Fat32 DAta Traveler (I want to think that it is the same USB that I am using for the installation), the second only says, verify / edit (I open it and I a hard disk and a usb disk appear) but in both it tells me that it cannot be installed because it is not empty. And the third is to update, but it does nothing.

What do I have to do.

I started to read a bit and discovered that the first error was that I had made a 33gb patch and it turns out that the FAT32 does not recognize it, that was my first problem, so I made a new one of 20gb and this one was done correctly in FAT32.
So I started to do the installation again, but the same thing appeared on the screen,
    1.- Win95 Fat32 Data Traveler
    2. Create modify partitions
    3. find devices

But in none of the 3 options can I move forward.

Hello, and I followed the steps as you describe them in the videos, with a 35 GB partition and when I finish installing the operating system, only 1.97 GB appears in storage and I don't know where the other GB are.
I have tried with several formats of Partitions and nothing, any solution.
    Thank you.

Hello to the creator of the post, tell him that I died in the attempt, since I do not give that my Android system has more than 1,97 gb of space, having assigned 20gb to said partition.
1,97 is useless to me, since at the moment the message of little space already skips me.
I already installed it in ntfs, fat32 and the other gb still do not appear.
Please creator of the post, give me a light so that I can have the 20gb in the installation of the Sony.
    Thank you

I have installed it and now I want to uninstall it and there are no ways. If I delete the partition at startup it gives me an error. And I cannot format because samsung recovery does not work for me. What can I do? Greetings

You delete the Android patch and then restart from a USB that has the installer for your version of Windows or, failing that, with the original CD and select, instead of installation, recovery tools. Then from the terminal you just have to write this command and run it: bootrec / fixmbr
