How to enable root permissions on the LG G3 with Android 5.0

Root LG G3 Lollipop

Surely many of our readers will be attentive to the launch that does not stop talking, but seems to be begging. We refer to Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3, which seems almost convinced to be in the terminals of users who have said phone before the end of this week. the update will arrive via OTA as usual, and although the rumors continue, it is not expected that LG has given the warning in vain. So just in case, all those who currently believe that it is better to have a root terminal than a basic one, you can take note of all the steps you need to root yours.

Then we leave you all the necessary downloads to be able to carry out the root process on LG G3 for when the Android 5.0 update is installed. The procedure has been carried out, and the information made available to users in the XDA Developers forum well known for almost always anticipating the plans of most manufacturers and especially for discovering ways to solve common problems while they brands take a slower pace. So, if you want to root Lollipop and your LG G3, take note of what we show you after the jump:

Root LG G3 with Android Lollipop

The procedure to be carried out is very simple, and it has nothing special with respect to other roots in other terminals or in versions previous operating systems. The steps to follow are detailed below and the materials you need to download and install, we also leave them behind the instructions with their respective links.

  • Download the corresponding files that we leave you in the links in the next section and restart in TWRP mode
  • Within the TWRP mode, you will have to do a factory reset, and then install all those files that you had previously downloaded. But you must do it in this order: ROM, SuperSU, Kernel and lastly Modem KK.
  • Now you will only have to restart your terminal and see how in the LG G3 with Android 5.0 Lollipop you already have root permissions

Everything you will need to download:

All this information, in addition to a complete forum on the subject, you can find in English on the XDA Developers forum, although in short, everything you need to do on your LG G3 is what we just mentioned in the previous steps. In any case, we remind you that root terminals makes you lose their warranty, and therefore it is a procedure that you must carry out at your own risk.

It is striking that this forum has now been opened, just a few hours after the XDA Developers page itself published how to carry out the Android 5.0 Lollipop installation even before the company launches it via OTA. After all, they have been talking about the subject for several days, and there is no news of her, at least not, in the form of the version that we are all wanting to have. Once again, it appears that alternative developers do a tougher job than they do in the companies themselves. So it's nice to be Android.

do you realize that to enter recovey mode in LG and flash a room we must already be root users? What is the tutorial aimed at?

Ok, this is like a dead end loop. To be ROOT I need ROOT. To be able to flash the mobile I need TWRP, which is only achieved with ROOT permissions and with the Bootloader unlocked, which also require ROOT permissions. I would have to downgrade to Kitkat to get ROOT on Android L 5.0, which I will not do because that leads you to install an unofficial ROM, which I do not like ... LG G3 users.
