For a few days one of the most anticipated games of this year, along with Call of Duty: Mobile, Minecraft Earth is now available in Spain, although previously it was already available in Mexico. This is the first foray of the well-known and classic Microsoft game into augmented reality following in the footsteps of Pokémon GO and the title of Harry Potter: Wizard Unite.
Minecraft Earth is not compatible with all terminals on the market, mainly due to some of its requirements, such as that the terminal is compatible with Google's augmented reality platform, AR Core, and that the operating system is Android 8.0 or higher. Nevertheless, It is likely that even though your terminal is officially compatible, you cannot install it from the Play Store.
The guys at Microsoft have announced which smartphones that meet these requirements not compatible with Minecraft and they cannot install the game from the Play Store. I particularly have a first generation Pixel, a terminal that is compatible with AR Core and is managed by Android 10, meeting both requirements.
This made me wonder if the initial limitation of Minecraft Earth is based on the processor of my device (since it meets both requirements) and I tried to install the application, downloading it directly from APK Mirror and test if it works. Result: Yes. It works and perfectly.
If your device is managed by Android 8 or higher and is also compatible with AR Core, I could guarantee almost 100% that Minecraft Earth will work perfectly on your device. You just have to visit this APK Mirror link to download Minecraft Earth and install it on your device.
- Once we have downloaded it and run it, the application needs download additional content, in my case 127 MB.
- Once you have downloaded the additional content, Minecraft Earth asks us for a Microsoft account.
- Next, being a game based on the location of the terminal, it requires that give permission to the locationas otherwise it makes no sense.
Once we have carried out all the steps, we can start to enjoy Minecraft Earth on our device.
One question: what if it says parse error? I need an answer ?
