If you want to avoid distractions you have to configure the Waze interface so that it is perfect when using it in the car if you are looking for an address or traveling. Waze by default comes with many things configured by the developers, but it is true that it is appropriate to remove certain parameters to make it more functional.
How to configure the Waze navigation interface
Once you download and install Waze by default everything is already activated, but it is convenient if you do not want distractions behind the wheel of resetting it. Waze shows us icons with drivers who use the application on the map. But we can remove this from the roots so as not to get confused.
To enter Waze settings click on the magnifying glass in the lower left corner, once you give it, you will enter the complete configuration of the tool. In the "Map display" option it is best to deactivate it so that it does not show us points and we do not get confused with our current position.
In the other section you can configure the second section that says "Speedometer", reconfigure this section so that it does not always show the speed, only when you exceed the allowed speed. Touching this setting will remove it from the Waze home screen.
One fundamental thing is to take advantage of voice commands, go to Settings> Sound and Voice> Voice commands> Activate this option, which is essential. Among the recognized commands are "Drive home", "Drive to work", "Stop" to stop navigation and cancel a command with "Cancel".
