Many are the phone manufacturers, but few who also cover the tablet sector, as it does Honor, the company that will not be separated from Huawei, and other firms. This is because it has a smaller number of consumers, so we do not usually see many launches of this type of device as well as phones.
The Honor MediaPad T5 has been released. Basically, this tablet is a terminal almost identical to the Huawei MediaPad T5. It comes with an excellent value for money and with interesting features and specifications, in which we highlight the implementation of a Kirin processor with GPU Turbo technology.
The Honor MediaPad T5 comes equipped with a Huge 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen that offers a FullHD resolution of 1.920 x 1.200 pixels, a configuration that is summarized in a 16:10 display format, typical for tablets.
The power of this device is sponsored by a Kirin 659 octa-core processor, which is capable of reaching a maximum frequency of 2.36 GHz. This 16 nm chipset is accompanied by a 3/4 GB RAM memory, a 32/64 GB storage space and powered by a 5.100 mAh capacity battery. In addition to this, comes with GPU Turbo, Huawei and Honor's proprietary technology that increases graphics processing efficiency and performance while reducing power consumption.
Moreover, it measures 243 x 164 x 7.8 mm and weighs 460 grams, runs Android 8.0 Oreo under EMUI 8.0, it has a fingerprint reader under the panel, facial recognition, it has GPS + GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth, a USB-C port and 4G LTE connection (optional).
Price and Availability
The Honor MediaPad T5 is now available for pre-orders in China, in Ice Blue and Gray colors and in three different versions, although nothing is known about its availability in Europe and the world. However, it will probably be on sale in other regions in a few weeks. Shipments will begin next October 15. The prices and versions are as follows:
- Honor MediaPad T5 WiFi 3GB / 32GB: 1.399 yuan (approx. 175 euros).
- Honor MediaPad T5 WiFi 4GB / 64GB: 1.599 (approx. 200 euros).
- Honor MediaPad T5 4G 4GB / 64GB: 1.799 yuan (approx. 225 euros).
