The new Honor 30S has finally been made official, a terminal that brings 5G connectivity to the mid-range and debuts alongside the Kirin 820 5G, Huawei's new processor that has a node size of 7 nm.
The Honor 820 5G promises what was leaked on past occasions. We are facing a mobile with a premium design that has a perforated screen and a quad camera, the two aspects that stand out most in this new alternative.
Features and technical specifications of the Honor 30S
This device makes use of a large screen that boasts a diagonal of 6.5 inches. The technology of this is IPS LCD, while the resolution it produces is FullHD + of 2,480 x 1,080 pixels. In addition, as we were saying, it has a perforation located in the upper left corner that houses the 16 MP selfie camera with f / 2.0 aperture. At the same time, the bezels that hold it are very small, which helps to make its aesthetics of lineage.
The dimensions of the phone are given as 161,31 x 75 x 8,8mm, while its weight is 190 grams. This body serves as a container for the new Kirin 820 5G, octa-core mobile platform that is composed of four ARM Cortex A76 cores and four other ARM Cortex A55 cores and works at a maximum frequency of 2.36 GHz.
In question, the core groupings of this SoC look like this: 1x Cortex-A76 at 2.36 GHz + 3x Cortex-A77 at 2.22 GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 at 1.84 GHz; all based on a 64-bit architecture. To this must be added the fact that it has a six-core Mali G57 GPU that represents a 38% performance increase, compared to that offered by the Mali G52 GPU, and a higher artificial intelligence performance of 73%, based on to Kirin 810.
The chipset is paired with 8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB internal storage space, so there are two memory configurations available. In addition to this, the ROM can be expanded by using an NM card (Huawei SD cards), while the battery that powers the phone is a 4,000 mAh battery that has a fast charging technology of 40 W via USB-C port.
On the other hand, regarding the photographic section, there is a quad camera system that is led by a 64 MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. The other three accompanying triggers in a rectangular module are an 8 MP super wide angle lens with f / 2.4, an 8 MP telephoto (f / 2.4) with 3X optical and 5X hybrid zoom, and a 2X macro sensor. MP with f / 2.4 aperture for close photos.
The physical fingerprint reader is not located on the rear panel of the new Honor 30S, but it is also not located under the screen since this is IPS LCD technology and, as you may know, it does not support it. This, on the other hand, is positioned on the right side.
There is a 3.5mm headphone jack and the operating system that is available for the mid-range terminal is Android 10 under the MagicUI 3.1.1 without Google mobile services. In turn, in terms of connectivity options, there are the following: 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS.
