Google temporarily solves problems with paid apps for Android Wear

Paid apps for Android Wear

Just yesterday we told you how there was an error that did not allow to activate paid apps for Android Wear. Just days after Google launched a whole section with the best paid apps for Android Wear, the modified Android operating system for this type of device called wearables. But its beginnings have not been everything desired since it has presented some other problem when payment applications were installed on its devices.

An encryption bug was found as the cause of the problem and which prevented paid content from being transferred via Bluetooth to devices like the G Watch and Gear Live. So those users who own one of these brand new wearables could have had problems with their paid apps, not being able to properly enjoy the new apps that are coming to this new section in the Play Store so exclusive for Android Wear.

The problem is based on how the applications are being bundled into a package. Instead of allowing users to explore their own apps directly from their wearable devices, Google has stipulated that it is best to install a standard app that users can install from the Play Store. so that it can be compatible with the applications themselves of payment.

This method works perfectly with free apps, but fails when you extract the APK from the wearable for paid content. Google has fixed the problem with a momentary fix as it tries to finally fix this problem. Essentially, Google mentions that developers have to manually change directory where the APK of the wearable is located.

For all developers who have created a paid app for Wear, Google directs you to the Android developer page from this same link.
