Last year, Google launched a feature of its social network Google+, in which a travel diary with your uploaded photos and videos would be created taking into account the location in which they were taken. That tool is called Google+ Stories, and it usually does a great job of compiling your images creating a nice presentation.
Some Google+ users have seen how these stories are beginning to make their way in Google Now. To do this, you must have the appropriate configuration, which we will describe below. After this, you can start to see a Google Now card where new stories are displayed. When you see the card, if you click on it, you will be automatically redirected to Google+ where you can share it with your friends.
According to the Google support page, the following steps will need to be performed for this new Google Now feature:
- Activate the Google location history, an action that we can perform from the location section in the settings of our smartphone.
- Use automatic backup, which saves all your images to Google Drive.
- Add your work and home addresses to Google Maps.
- Take lots of photos.
