Google announces that something new will arrive on May 7: it could be the Pixel 3a duo

Google announces launch event: the Pixel 3a awaiting

Next month could be exciting for phone lovers. OnePlus is rumored to launch its next flagship, the OnePlus 7, on May 14; Asus to Zenfone 6, on May 16; and the Huawei sub-brand to the Honor 20, on May 21. But before all this, Google will reveal its own surprise.

Google's online store now has a teaser saying that something new will come on may 7. Following its reveal, speculation arose that this is a launch event for the upcoming Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.

In addition to the poster announcing the event, Google also uploaded a video of the battle of Avengers: Infinity War from New York. The edited video shows a group of people with Pixel 3 phones. There are also some images from the trailers of Avengers: Endgame. The video ends with Google revealing that the playmojis of the The Avengers are now available in Playground, exclusively for the Pixel 3.

There is also a legend that says: "May 7: Something Big is Coming to the Pixel Universe". You can register on the web portal to get details about the product launch that day, as notification.

We have no idea why Google is linking the movie from The Avengers with the release of both phones, unless you want to tell us that the "a" in the names of the phones (Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL) is short for Avengers. This is something that is not clear.

May 7 is the day Google I / O begins and the Mountain View company is expected to present the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL at the event. Both are mid-range smartphones and will be cheaper, trimmed versions of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL flagships.
