During the months of confinement that most countries have suffered, messaging applications have become the most used in the world to keep in touch with friends and family, work from home, continue with distance studies.

Quickly Zoom became the most used application in the world, a video calling service that quickly showed a large number of deficiencies related to both privacy and security, causing many companies and governments to stop using it.

Zoom was not the most used platform for any special reason, but because it was the one that more tools offered to usersTools that little by little have been reaching the rest of the platforms, with Google Meet being the last one to receive them.

From now on, paid users of Google Meet can enjoy two new functions: surveys and Q&A. You find them allow you to easily and quickly know the opinion of the participants in a video call without having to go one by one, a process that can be very long if they also have or want to argue their answer.

Regarding the Q&A function (Question and Answer), it allows to establish a series of automatic responses to any of the questions that are made through the videoconference chat channel, which avoids interruptions when someone is late for the meeting, for example.

On September 30, the date on which Google would continue to allow use of its Google Meet video calling platform for free was set, limiting these to a maximum of 60 minutes. However, a day later he announced that extended the free service due to the pandemic until March 31, 2020. In this way, we will be able to continue enjoying unlimited video calls without duration of time through Google Meet for a few more months.
