Google launches exclusive Play Music feature for the Galaxy S8

Owners of any Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus model who are also users of the streaming music service Google Play Music, can now enjoy a new exclusive feature of this service that no one else will be able to use, at least not for now.

The new function in question has received the name "New Release Radio" and it seems that it is an exclusive feature within the Google Play Music application reserved only for the owners of these devices manufactured by South Korean Samsung.

If you have a Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus in your hands and you are also a user of the Play Music app, you may have noticed that you have a new feature, however, what you may not know is that, for now, this new feature is Exclusive for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

This news, which has been published through the middle Sam Mobile, comes shortly after the two companies established a partnership last April. Google and Samsung reached an agreement from which Play Music would be the default music player on the new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + flagships. Taking advantage of this agreement, Google has been offering a selection of gifts to "sweeten" the deal.

Initially, the partnership allowed owners of Samsung phones and tablets to upload 100.000 of your own songs to Play Music for free, double the usual amount, while offering a three month free trial to the music streaming service. Now, in addition, Samsung customers can make use of this new and exclusive feature called “New Release Radio”.

As it is deduced from its name, New Release Radio is a playlist that offers the latest releases and that is updated daily so that the user always has access to new content to listen to adapted to the tastes of each person based on your listening history.
