Children at an early age are making use of technology, many of them even starting to use mobile phones when they are young. The risk of daily use of a terminal is great, so much so that Google has created a game with which to help the little ones at home with the issue of the use of these devices and their safety.
Google launches Interland, an interactive video game with which to learn about cybersecurity, comes with the “Be Great on the Internet” initiative and we can play it with a smartphone or tablet through the website created by the company. Google Interlands It is not available in the Play Store at least out of the box, but Mountain View rules out launching it as an application.
Learn about cybersecurity
Google Interlands will be divided into four differential adventures, in which learn about cybersecurity issues on the Internet and are explained in a simple and intuitive way. It will help the little ones to avoid falling into scams, cheating, knowing behaviors in social networks, managing passwords and sharing information, among other things.
Each of the topics will be divided into a game, in which we will have to pass several levels, passing several questions and doing some of the available games.
The four minigames
Treasure Tower: The game is focused on passwords. It will help young people to create a strong password, also giving tips to prevent their accounts from being hacked.
Sensata Mountain: This game focuses on personal information that is shared on the network. The objective of this game is to learn what is shared, with whom, and the consequences of sharing it on the Internet.
River of Reality: This game is based on knowing scams, lies on the net, fake or phishing emails, among other things. Different steps will be taken to avoid these situations.
Kind Kingdom: The last game is based on social media behaviors. It will seek that young people learn to behave in the networks in a positive way and can defend themselves from people who disrespect them, insult them, etc.
