Little by little, more and more applications are being updated and preparing to add dark mode. Dark mode, according to most rumors, will arrive on Android officially through the next version of Android Q, whose final name it has not yet been officially announced.
The latest application that has already prepared the way to adapt to dark mode is Google Camera, Google's camera application for the Pixels. For a few days, version 6.2 has been available, a version that at first glance does not offer us substantial changes, but if we inquire into the configuration options, we find news.
The Google Camera application has always shown a dark mode, but if we go into the configuration options, it is shown in white, giving us a blow to the jos, especially when we are in a place with little ambient lighting. After updating, we can modify the configuration interface so that it is shown in black.
New animations
When switching between camera, video, portrait and panorama in the previous version 6.1, a black background transition is displayed with the corresponding mode icon in the center. With version 62, the screen does not show black when switching between the different modes showing a zoom in or out effect, depending on the mode we select, giving the feeling of offering greater speed.
This new update, too it offers us the image of the flash when we activate it for the front camera. This image is better than changing the screen color to sepia as it did in version 6.1
