Google announces new HP Chromebook in Swedish education post

Yesterday, Google published on its blog a post about the role that technology is playing in education, but specifically, about how Chromebooks are used in Swedish schools.

Under the title "Schools in Sweden have made Chromebooks nummer ett (number one)!", This publication hid the news of HP's new Chromebook, the Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition.

HP's new Chromebook is described in the post like a chromebook 'Rugged' and 360-degree convertible with USB Type-C charging, large camera capacities, and an optional stylus or stylus.

La world-facing camera it will allow students to capture photos and videos from all directions. Google claims that it has positioned it close to the keyboard so that when students fold the computer, the camera is facing outward so they can use the new Chromebook as a tablet.

As far as the stylus is concerned, it seems that this model would be one of the low-cost styluses that Google had previously described. It is an accessory very similar to real pencils in that includes a unique eraser to correct mistakes and they do not need to be loaded or linkedso they can be easily shared and replaced if lost. '

Recently, and on the occasion of MWC, Google announced that it was stopping manufacturing the Chromebook Pixel, however, the truth is that these outfits have become a popular choice in classrooms as they are relatively cheap. According to Google, "Worldwide more than 20 million teachers and students are using Chromebooks and Google Classroom, and more than 70 million are using G Suite for Education."

The Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition will be available from mid-April, but details on its pricing and availability have yet to be announced.
