Google Allo 11 prepares for integration with Google Duo

Allo

When last year Google launched its new communication applications Allo and Duo, many of us wondered if, perhaps, not it would be more convenient to integrate one into the other, in order to chat and make video calls with everything they offer as independent apps but with the advantage of doing it from a single place. Well, among the news that Google has been preparing for months is this integration.

Apparently, the next version of Google Allo, which will be version 11, will bring various novelties such as the possibility of adding groups through QR codes, generating stickers from selfies and, even better, Google Allo prepares to make calls with Google Duo in conversations.

The guys from the 9to5Google website have taken a look at the APK of the next Google Allo 11 for Android uploaded to the Play Store and that is where they have been able to find several lines of code that reveal the features that this service could implement in the future.

Without a doubt, the most outstanding novelty is that the new version of Google Allo is prepared so that users can make Duo calls in conversations. This means that, Using the new buttons integrated in the app, a Duo call can be made easily and quickly from within Allo so the user would only jump to the Duo application to continue the call itself. In other words, we are NOT talking about a complete integration or a fusion between applications.

Obviously, this novelty is still in the air and as they well point out from 9to5Google, it could be that the company does not finally launch this or other features yet discovered in the Google Allo 11 APK.
