Good Bye Pokemon Go, Hello Root

Pokémon GO

In this personal opinion post that I wanted to headline Good Bye Pokemon Go, Hello Root, I want to talk about the tricky issue or decision of Nintendo, to prohibit access to the game to all users with a rooted Android terminal or with a jailbroken iOS device. A decision made by the creators of what until now had been the best Android game of all time, at least the one that has had the most hype and repercussion worldwide, and that now, after just over two months of existence , almost no one remembers him anymore, so much so that users are no longer seen en masse on the streets of cities hunting and capturing their favorite Pokemon.

But, what has become of all these users who hallucinated with the game this same summer? I think I'm right when I think, at least for Android game users, that many of the so-called Android trainers have fled, leaving the game aside and opting for the wise decision to remain root user to enjoy all the advantages that this offers us to Andy users. Some advantages that under no circumstances are we willing to give up in order to enjoy the Pokemon game. Go, and more if we think about what there are still cheats in the game either through automated boots or through tricks to be able to play Pokemon Go without leaving home.

Apps to root on Android

The fact is that even being able to understand this controversial decision made by Nintendo and Niantic of prohibit access to the game to root users or terminals with jailbreak in the case of iOS With the sole excuse of banning cheats from the game, this in the case of iOS, an operating system that I am not lucky or unfortunate to know too well, it may have given them a good result and cheats have been avoided , although it is clear that in the case of Android this has not given any results.

Nintendo with this decision that affects Android users with Root terminals, has wanted us to be iOS users in which having a terminal with Jailbreak is synonymous with downloading free paid apps or performing illegal tricks, which in Android, for everything anyone who does not know how it happens to the leaders and managers of Nintendo, It is not necessary to have a rooted terminal to be able to download and install paid applications for free or perform different tricks like play Pokemon Go without leaving home.

Being a root user or having a rooted terminal is much more than what Nintendo people imagine. Having a Root terminal helps us to enjoy an optimized terminal to remain useful even when manufacturers put it aside, with Root we can optimize our Android processor, with Root we can improve battery consumption, with Root we can update our Android when updates to new versions of Android are no longer provided to us. Do you really nintendo friends think that we were going to stop being Root to play Pokemon Go?.

That is why and many other reasons such as the arrogance of these Nintendo who think I do not know what, that I have decided to make the decision to, even existing tricks to be able to play Pokemon Go from a rooted terminal, tricks that hide the root, I have decided to stop playing Pokemon Go by telling these from Nintendo and Niantic, Good Bye Pokemon Go, Hello Root.

It was nice meeting you but there you stay Pokemon Go since it is not worth it to me to take the trouble to flash my terminal to hide the Root, much less of course, do without the Root in Android. So once again I tell you: Good Bye Pokemon Go, Hello Root.

You seem annoyed. Did they ban your account as a cheater?

😀 No jokes, I see it well that you take measures to avoid advantages. It is true that they are not fair for everyone. Greetings.

The thing is, banning Root users doesn't prevent cheaters from accessing the game. That is the problem with all this friend.

I understand you got tired of cheating. But they cheat, they don't play games. I still enjoy playing MY game, finding my missing Pokemon, and evolving the ones I can. I'm still having fun, I don't care what other people do. What if they take out the ones I wear in the gym? Well, it's a game. I follow my game and will try to enter another.
I agree with you on something, it is arbitrary and nonsensical that they prohibit playing on rooted computers.

I uninstalled it as soon as I saw that they prevented me from playing being Root ... being Root, as it is said in the article, it is not that you have HACKED THE TERMINAL as it can be the case of IOs ... we all have administrator privileges in our Windows and no developer It occurs to him to say that if you are the admin of your PC you cannot play this or that game in case you access the game files and modify them ... for that, systems like PunkNuster for PC or similar came out that the games asked you to have installed, but it doesn't even occur to anyone to grant access to users with administrator privileges (which I repeat, is the type of profiles most used in Windows by all of us ...)

What surprises me is that Niantic, being Google themselves, have decided to block access to Root users ... this sounds more scary than inexperienced and profane on the subject than Google technicians (Niantic bought it Google since they released the game prior to Pokemon Go, called Ingress).

For me, this decision must have been imposed from outside and if it may have been Nintendo itself, profane in what it is to be Root, the one that has imposed the idea of doing it.

And I repeat, being root is not having the phone "hacked" or "hacked" or anything like that as in the case of IOs ...

I recommend that the UNUSELESS Niantic programmers ask in SUPERCELL how they go about banning cheaters. In clas of clans you get banned for using third-party apps not for being root.
You can make the root players play and not the cheats, you just have to know how to program.

It seems to me that Niantic or Nintendo, or whoever, was wrong this time…. The game simply had to evolve according to the demands of the users and not leave it as plain and monotonous as it becomes after several hours of using it ... Besides, who can say that the time invested in the game, in any way, is not valuable to them ... It is a very limited game and not suitable for all ages ... Finally, if you expose yourself in the real world, surely no one would play at night, or anywhere, so thanks to those who develop those options for to be able to play safely from home ... and if these options are available in the market, there will always be people willing to take advantage of them ... is that hacking? Who loses? ... It's a shame that Niantec has such a closed mind ... They evolve like their pokemons ....
