Gionee has re-launched new mobiles. One of these arrives as a trimmed performance terminal, which leaves it focused for the budget segment, while the other is made available as a mid-range. Although there are many differences between these, more than anything in the technical section, they share a strong point, and that is that of autonomy, although it is greater in one, and by far.
Specifically, we talk about the Gionee Max and Gionee M30, a duo that was presented separately, but that we detail them as a whole below, in order to put them face to face and see everything that the Chinese company offers us with these smartphones.
All about the Gionee Max and Gionee M30
We will start by talking about the Gionee Max and the first thing we come across is that this device comes with an IPS LCD technology screen consisting of a 6.1-inch diagonal. It contains a water-shaped notch and also boasts an HD + resolution of 1.560 x 720 pixels. Its edges are softened thanks to the 2.5D panel that covers it.

The low-end phone equips the Unisoc SC9863A eight-core SoC clocked at 1.6 GHz. This chipset is paired in this case with a 2 GB RAM and an internal storage space of 32 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage that can be expanded with a microSD memory card of up to 256 GB.
The battery that it has equipped under its hood is of 5.000 mAh, but it does not seem to be compatible with fast charging, since the connector it has for charging is not USB-C. What there is is reverse charging, something good and unusual in this range.
The rear camera that it carries is double and 13 MP + bokeh sensor, at the same time in which a 5 MP front shooter is located in the notch of the screen. Also, regarding other features, it does not come with a rear fingerprint reader, but it does bring 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The operating system it has is Android 10.
The Gionee M30 is the most advanced mobile of this duo presented by the firm, but this does not mean that it is high-end. Comes with a 6-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution of 1.440 x 720 pixels.

The processor that powers this model is the Mediatek Helio P60, which has eight cores and can work at a maximum clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. This is accompanied by a 8 GB RAM memory, an internal storage space of 128 GB and a monster 10.000mAh capacity battery that supports 25W fast charging and reverse charging, and with total security it will be able to offer an autonomy of up to 4 days with average use.
The Gionee M30 features a 3,5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It also has a rear fingerprint reader, a dual 16 MP rear camera, and an 8 MP front shooter. We presume that the operating system it uses is Android 10, but TENAA previously revealed that it was the Nougat version; It is worth noting that the company did not disclose this detail, so we are waiting.
Prices and availability
The Gionee Max has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 5.999, which is equivalent to about 75 euros to change, and is available in black, red and royal blue. The phone is billed to go on sale August 31 at Flipkart.
In the case of the Gionee M30, it arrived only for China, and with a price of 1.399 yuan, which would be about 175 euros at approx. It is not known when it will start selling exactly, but it will be soon.
