Samsung has become one of the few manufacturers that continues to launch tablets on the market, despite the scant interest that Google seems to be paying to this type of device, in which Apple has become the main reference worldwide.
The Korean company Samsung officially launched the new Galaxy Tab A7, the budget version for this year, a tablet that starts at 229 euros and is primarily intended to consume content. From Samsung's servers, they have just released a new security update for the Galaxy Tab S5e, a security update for the month of September and it bears the firmware number T720XXS1BTI3.
This new update is now available in Colombia and Chile, so it is a matter of days before it expands to the rest of the countries where Samsung markets this model. Unlike previous updates this device has received, no new functionality has been added.
This update resolves 15 vulnerabilities in Samsung's customization layer and more than 90 that affect Android, all of them minor. This tablet was launched in 2019, it is still a year after its launch, an excellent option to consider if you want a mid-range tablet with Android.
