Some users have reported problems with the autonomy that the Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 Ultra offers. Apparently, the high-performance smartphone does not last what the 4.500 mAh battery capacity should promise, which is at least a day of use, which would be no less than 6-7 hours of screen time. This has reached the ears of the South Korean and, to solve this regret, the company has launched a new software update, which has the role of fixing such inconvenience.
The firmware package is currently not being offered globally, so it is not reaching all users either. This will only be the case for now. Germany is the first country that is receiving the update in style, so that it later reaches other regions, until it becomes present throughout the world and all the units of the flagship.

So is. The smartphone, as we already described it, is deserving of a new firmware package that will soon, sooner rather than later, be available worldwide. This is just being offered in Germany and comes with the build version 'N98xxXXU1ATJ1'.
As with virtually any update, it doesn't come with just one enhancement. This also comes with improvements for the camera application and dark mode, in addition to also implementing small bug fixes, in order to increase the overall performance of the device. In turn, there are various system optimizations that come with this package for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
It is not clear how good is the increased autonomy the terminal offers with this update. However, we should get news about it soon. Surely the improvement would not be abysmal, but it is worthy of appreciation.
As a brief review of the characteristics and specifications of this mobile flagship, we have that it comes with a 2X Dynamic AMOLED technology screen that has a large 6.9-inch diagonal and a QuadHD + resolution of 1.440 x 3.088 pixels. The refresh rate that this panel is capable of producing is 120 Hz, while it also produces a high pixel density of 496 dpi and is compatible with HDR10 + technology. In turn, the screen is protected with a Corning glass called Gorilla Glass Victus, which is put to the test in this recent test, in which the phone is subjected to a drop resistance test with the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The processor chipset of this flagship is the Snapdragon 865 Plus or the Exynos 990 5G (which one or the other depends on the market where it is sold). This SoC is paired with a 12 GB RAM memory and a 128/256/512 GB capacity internal storage space. The battery, as we already mentioned, is 4.500 mAh and is compatible with 25 W fast charging technology, as well as wireless charging and reverse charging.
The camera system of this terminal is triple and is composed of a 108 MP main sensor, a 12 MP periscope lens with 5X optical zoom and 50X hybrid zoom, and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor focused on taking wide photos. For selfie photos, facial recognition and more, there is a front camera located in the hole in the screen that is 10 MP resolution.
Lastly, as for other varied features, we have stereo speakers, a USB-C 3.2 port, an on-screen fingerprint reader, and the Android 10 operating system under Samsung's One UI 2.5 customization layer. There is also an NFC chip for making contactless payments through Samsung Pay and we have an IP68 grade waterproof certificate, which makes it submersible and, therefore, splash and moisture proof, something that, without place undoubtedly, it is greatly appreciated in a not cheap phone like this.
