Samsung continues to be determined to offer content in the mid-range of mobile telephony despite the fact that other brands of Chinese origin such as Xiaomi are pressing and very strong. In this case we have the Samsung Galaxy A7, a terminal that has brought three cameras to differentiate itself from the rest of the devices in its segment. We want to share with you our first impressions of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), the terminal with the three cameras in the mid-range with many chiaroscuro. And it is that the terminal of the South Korean firm has many sections to highlight, but also others that will leave us honey on our lips, let's go there.
Design and materials: Samsung wants to pass it off as premium
Samsung opts once again for aluminum in the bezels and glass on the back so that the design is not a problem when purchasing this Galaxy A7 (2018). The construction is good and It has a 2.5D glass on the back that makes it comfortable, at the same time that it is quite repellent to fingerprints. However, despite this rear glass, we do not have wireless charging. These are the weight and dimensions specifications of the terminal:

While it is not heavy, it is we are in front of a fairly large terminal, whose screen use is not as real as it may seem, since the upper and lower frames are much more pronounced than we could imagine at first. The terminal is undoubtedly well made and the range of colors in blue, black and gold is quite attractive. We have to emphasize that we forgot the start button in the center, passing a side fingerprint reader well placed, with button and ideal size.

The three most affordable cameras
Samsung has decided to differentiate this terminal by means of the three cameras located vertically on its back, as we have mentioned previously we have three sensors of 24.0 MP + 5.0 MP + 8.0 MP with f / 1,7 + f / 2,2 and f / 2,4 respectively, counting on a 77º wide angle in the central and finally a 120º ultra large annular in the final chamber. Without a doubt, the camera is versatile, but ... Does it offer as much difference as they want to make it seem from Samsung? Soon we will be testing the terminal to determine whether or not the Galaxy A7 (2018) can become the King of photography within the mid-range or not, and it is important to remember that this terminal is below 400 euros .
It would certainly not be the first terminal that promises a photographic quality that it does not offer later, and that is in this of the cameras we have learned that not always more is better, as with the Google Pixel. Meanwhile, time will be in charge of telling us what the result is.
Screen improvements and a new side fingerprint sensor
The screen is the other great protagonist of this Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018)) and is that it represents an improvement over the previous model, if not so much in screen ratio, where they have limited little more than rounding the corners, the panel offers a 6-inch Super AMOLED system with a Full HD + resolution, category and resolution at the height of the highest of the ranges and it is an aspect that you discover a few moments after coming into contact with the terminal, how large it is and the quality of the panel will greatly promote the consumption of multimedia. Especially if we take into account the integration of Dolby Atmos audio.
Another radical change with respect to the previous model is precisely the disappearance of the central physical button, although it could fit, Samsung has made the determination to include the fingerprint sensor in a side button, in true Sony style, a fairly intelligent option that has honestly adapted luxuriously to the slimness of the device, being at first glance quite comfortable and also well located. Samsung has taken advantage of the presumed experience here with a somewhat innovative but certainly useful alternative.
No USB-C in full 2018
The negative note of the terminal leaves her the surprise to discover that in nothing less than a 349 euro device a standard charger is included, but it is not the worst, the real amazement comes when we realize that we have a single microUSB connection in a terminal that if it weren't for that, it would leave nothing to envy any high-end of this year 2018 (at the design level). An inexcusable absence for a firm like Samsung that includes USB-C in some of its devices for quite some time, I cannot understand why the South Korean firm has ended up opting for this charging port destined for oblivion before the end of this year.
Another section to highlight is that despite being launched at the end of September, we find Android 8.0 as the Operating System, although the arrival of Android 9.0 is presumed over the months, if the companies proceed with the corresponding updates.
