EVE Echoes we had the opportunity to test it months ago and the truth is that we were totally delighted. A few hours ago the guys behind its development have announced that it will arrive in mid-August. You can now register for the preview on Google Play.
If this new game for Android is special, it is because it predecessors the huge EvE Online and that it has been the best space mmo that there has never been before. Now we will have the possibility from our mobile to explore up to 8.000 solar systems with their planets, satellites, seat belts and others. A game that will give us hours and hours of play for the next few years. Go for it.
What has been announced about EvE Echoes: news and release date
We already know that in mid-August we will have the final version of EVE Echoes and that will come with a series of news that a few hours ago the studio behind its development, Netease Games, shared.
At Netease Games live streaming they were talking about some of the features and news that we were unaware of:
- Corporations: they will cost 200.000 and their size will be linked to their abilities. They will be created with the number of 50 characters and a maximum of 200 players.
- EVE Echoes monetization It will be on three levels:
- Alpha (free): some of the content will be available and the skill ratios lower
- Omega Basic: more skills available and the industry is unlocked. Average skills from 5 to 10 per month
- Omega Standard- All available skills and other content is unlocked. Maximum skill ratio of 15 to 20 per month
- New race available: Yan Jung and a whole line of ships of his own will be deployed
So we already have the plans of the freemium model (if you can call it that) and that include three levels from the free one to which we understand the paid one. We do not have the cost information, but we assume that it will be a subscription model to EVE Online.
There is much more information available, but for now it remains within the rumors. But it is exactly what we were looking for in order to complete that mobile game model and from which it is difficult to get out of freemium. Here EVE Echoes follows the EVE Online model, so we simply have to know the cost of those basic and standard levels.

And if we even have a trailer for the EVE Echoes gameplay, now we have the previous registration active in order to prepare for that final launch from the Google Play Store. In the video released yesterday we can see how it has been the transfer of those two years in which the community itself has been able to help in the creation of this MMO.
In fact we were playing open beta and in those weeks we really enjoyed a game that is going to have a great community within it. That said, we are facing an online game in which it is vital to belong to a corporation (or what would be a clan), since these communities are able to dominate a solar system to extract the resources and bring them to their sale to market.
EVE Online has a player-driven economy and it is what is intended in EVE Echoes. That is, it mimics the real economy to take it to an alternate universe in which all those solar systems await us for PvP combat, exploration, mining and much more. It does not mean that you can act as a space pirate, but it will cost you a lot to defend yourself against those corporations of hundreds of players.
