Telegram is an application that continues to gain presence on Android. One of the advantages in the app is that we can customize it in a remarkable way, thanks to being able to use dark mode or a wide series of options that the application allows us. Unlike other apps in this case, we can add people that we do not have in our contacts in the app. Therefore, the way to delete them is different.
So if we want to delete a contact in Telegram, we do it directly in the application. The steps to follow are simple in any case, so you will not have problems in this regard, to delete a contact in the app.
This is something we can do from a chat directly on Telegram or by going to the contacts section. In any case, we have to click on the name of that person, to open a chat window in the app. Once inside said window, click on the contact name of said person.
A new window opens on the screen. Here we have to click on the three vertical points, located in the upper right part of the screen. A contextual menu will then appear with several options, where we have to click on the option Delete Contact, which is one of those that appears in that list.
Telegram will ask us to confirm if we really want to delete to that person from our contacts. In this way, when we have clicked on OK, this contact has already been removed from our list. So we will not see it in the list again. Although we have at all times the possibility of contacting this person and she with us.
If you want to prevent this person from contacting you, then you have to choose the option to block. So Telegram prevents that person from writing messages to you in the application. So this is something that depends on each personal situation.
