The Play Store adds the option to enable or disable dark mode

Dark Mode Play Store

Google officially introduced dark mode with the launch of Android 10, a dark mode that incomprehensibly, we cannot schedule its operation (If we can do it with Android 11 according to various rumors). In addition, the adaptation of most of Google applications is being disappointing.

The dark mode on Android, at least in relation to Google applications leaves much to be desired, not only because not a real dark mode (replaces the background white with a dark gray), but also because it does not allow us, in most cases, to manage its operation.

Dark Mode Play Store

If you are one of those users who do not want all applications the same mode (dark or light), depending on whether it is activated in the system, Google allows us in some applications specify which one we want to display. The last application that receives the possibility of being able to select the type of mode that we want is the Play Store.

Google is updating from the server, the Play Store application in some users, an update that adds the possibility of select light mode, dark mode or depending on the system. If you want to enjoy this function, you will have to wait for it to be implemented to all users, since it is not available in the latest version available in APK Mirror.

At the moment, we don't know either if this function will be available on terminals with Android 9 Pie or it will only be available on terminals with Android 10. It must be taken into account that manufacturers such as Samsung and Huawei implemented the dark mode and Android 9 through its customization layer. We will have to wait until the final version is released to be able to check it.
