With Cyanogen Theme Showcase they are three applications that CyanogenMod has brought to the Play Store in order to offer more customization to those users who have a version of the CyanogenMod alternative ROM installed. A few days ago it put six new fonts in the Play Store that I'm sure many users have downloaded to give more personalization to their phones with CM. And, rather recently, it launched the CyanogenMod app package so that developers with CM-based ROMs can install the latest versions.
This new Cyanogen Theme Showcase app acts as a link portal to CyanogenMod themes on Google Play with your own CM theme manager. A successful move by the team behind CyanogenMod bringing its prized apps, fonts and themes to the Play Store, and following in the footsteps of Google itself that last year began launching most of its stock apps that come on Android.
The best thing about the appearance of all these apps is that they allow us update them without the need to flash a new version of the ROM on our phone, so they will always be very welcome.
And when it comes to CM issues, they can change the whole "look" of the software of your device, having the possibility to explore the different combinations of wallpapers, icons, start or boot animations of the various themes that you have at your disposal.
Theme developers are invited too to bring your creations to this application so that the tools available to CM users grow in quality. Popular icon packs from app launchers like Nova, LauncherPro and many more are supported in this new Cyanogen Theme Showcase app.
