Now, if you are using a Microsoft Band 2 bracelet paired with your Android device, you could be in luck, since the voice assistant Cortana will be available for your wearable. This means that the Band 2 when paired with both a Windows Phone and an Android phone, basically have the same features and functionality.
Until today you could only pair your Android device with the Microsoft Band 2, but not eligible for Cortana support. Starting today, with the update of the Microsoft Health app on Google Play, the Redmond giant has brought with it support for the personal assistant for Android phones paired with the Microsoft Band 2.
This app is available for any Android device that has version 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher. The only thing that at the moment its availability is exclusively for the users in the United States.
The updated version of Microsoft Health is the 1.3.20602.2 and allows users to access Cortana's voice commands to reply to text messages, instant notifications, and more. This is the list of features:
