If a few hours ago we brought you a comparison between the Galaxy Note 4 and the new Galaxy Note 5, now we bring you a comparison of another terminal that has been presented alongside the fifth generation of the Note range, the Plus version of the S6 Edge.
Samsung demonstrated in Barcelona, the improved version of its curved phone, under the S range of its family of devices. Now the company is back with a superior device, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. What news does this new device bring us? Is it worth switching from Edge to Edge Plus?
The S6 Edge was an unexpected success for many, now a larger version is coming under the name of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. This is an interesting device although it does not have many differences from the current Korean smartphone.
Same Hardware, different size
Same structure, same construction materials, buttons in the same place, the same ports, etc ... There is hardly any difference between the hardware of the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Plus version since they share the same hardware. Where if there is a difference is in the screen size, the Plus version goes up to 5,7 inches compared to the 5,1 inches of the S6 Edge. Both screens are the same, same resolution, same panel, but nevertheless, there is a small difference and that is, the S6 Edge Plus has 518 ppi while the S6 Edge has 577 ppi.
Same processor, same internal storage, but different RAM memory. The new Edge Plus is equipped with a memory of 4 GB RAM, while the normal version has 3 GB. The other specs are identical to the Edge version until we hit battery capacity. In this case, the Galaxy S6 Edge +, having a larger size, also has a superior autonomy, we are talking about 3.000 mAh compared to 2.400 mAh of the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Another difference between the two devices is that Samsung has improved the software so that the curved side of the screen has better functionalities that until now the S6 Edge did not have and they make that section of the smartphone have more functionalities and be more practical. It remains to be seen if the Koreans decide to also update the smaller version and thus be able to enjoy these new functions of the S6 Edge +.
