Chrome for Android will allow us to close all open tabs

Google Chrome 64

Depending on the use we make of our smartphone, it is likely that our browser will find itself in most cases with a large number of open tabs, tabs that over time prevent us from quickly finding searches or web pages that we have previously visited. While it is true that we can close tabs quickly thanks to the simple user interface, it will soon be easier.

It will be easier as long as you want to clean the slate, that is, close all the tabs that are open in the browser. Currently, if you want to close all the tabs, you have to go sliding them left or right To do it, a process that is too long and that quickly takes away the desire to continue doing it. In future versions of Chrome a shortcut will be included that will allow us to close them all together.

As can be read on the Chromium blog where the upper image is also located, we see how in the lower left, it is a trash can icon. When clicking on it, Chrome will ask us for confirmation to delete all the tabs that are currently open, which will also allow us to free a large amount of memory on our device and, incidentally, improve the performance of the browser.

At the moment, we don't know when the search giant plans to roll out this new feature. Nor if it will, although it is most likely that it will, since there are many users who have been waiting for this feature for a long time, a function that does not allow us to improve the performance of both Chrome and our smartphone, which must free up a large amount of memory on our device.

While this new feature is rolling out, you can take a look at the news offered by the latest update of Google Chrome, number 71.
