Just a few weeks ago Google came up with a new gadget called Chromecast at a price of $ 35 and sold in record time. It quickly became a must-have accessory for everyone.

The truth is that Chromecast, Google's new gadget, doesn't do many things, although with the demand that is having, with the new applications that appear, they should quickly increase its possibilities making it an even more useful tool.
You can stream or send video or music files from your portable devices directly to the screen of your television and sound system, just as a Smart TV can do. You can send the Chrome browser to the TV and use applications like Netflix, YouTube or Google Music & Movies.
CheapCast has been developed by an XDA user for emulate Chromecast functionalities, and essentially allows your Smartphone or Tablet to do the same through the application. What you need is to be on the same WiFi network or connect your device to the TV via HDMI. The experience is very similar, you can even name your devices.
