Today, April 23, 2020, in a state of alarm and confinement, we are before one of the strangest and most anomalous dyads of Saint Jordi that we could have ever imagined not even the most fanciful of the place.
Even if it is a Sant Jordi day that we have to spend locked up in our home while the streets that other years were full of book stalls and roses, now remain sad and lonely as if taken from a post-apocalyptic environment, in Androidsis We have decided that this is not going to bother us and we are going to celebrate the festival of Sant Jordi, the festival of the Book and the Rose in the best way that I can think of and that I have been able to find is none other than giving away free books from the best publishers in the world and all this in a totally legal way.
In the video that I have left you just above these lines, I wanted to share with all of you a reading platform, a free reading platform that includes new authors with very, very well-known authors and publishers, all of them put together in a kind of portal where free books of all styles, colors, categories and languages are shared.
Much more than a simple reading platform, ISSUUS has become a whole social network dedicated to people who like to read in general, and although I have oriented the video for the smallest of the house because I have really found a lot of material oriented for this general public that goes from 4 or 5 years old to 15 or 16 years old, also logically we will find free books for all ages, genders and reading needs that the user needs.
One of the things that I liked the most about this reading platform called Issuu, is that in addition to having the Android application from which we can read books for free and discover content in a way that is fully optimized for mobile devices, We also have a Web version accessible from any browser, so that, although it is not as optimized as the Android application, we can continue with our readings from any personal computer or device with the only requirement that it has a functional web browser.
Among the functions that should be highlighted in the Android application that you can download a little below these lines, I have to mention the tremendous ease of creating an account on the platform and thus keep all your readings synchronized and available on all your terminals, and is that we are allowed to log in and identify ourselves with our Google account or our Facebook account.
Apart from this, which is not little, we also have functions as interesting as being able to download the books, (this only from the Android application, not from the Web version), with which we will be able to keep in memory the books that we are interested in reading in order to continue reading even when we do not have an Internet connection.
If we also add the option Stacks, option that although the literary translation from English is "batteries", I personally like to call it "Bookshelves", we are without a doubt with a very, very complete application from which in addition to read hundreds of books for freeWe will also be able to share them with all our friends as easily as when we send or share a link on any social network.
