BLUETTI announces the EP600 and B500 modular energy storage system, presented at IFA 2022

BLUES EP600

BLUETTI showed its latest innovations at the IFA in Berlin, among them the AC500 + B300S combo, the AC200 series, and perhaps the most important of the family, the EP600 + B500 solar system. The latter adds a three-phase system, incorporates a 6kW inverter and a maximum LFP battery capacity of 79kWh.

Searching for a perfect solar battery is not impossible, although there are many options available in the market and it is difficult to analyze each one of them. This energy storage is ideal to meet the needs when at a time there is no light, we go on a trip or we want to be in the countryside, where sometimes we do not have a point of light.

Flexibility always becomes the first priority of BLUETTI innovations. Since the launch of AC300+B300, system launched in 2021, the firm has begun to make its solar energy systems modular, bringing extraordinary versatility and compatibility with many devices. The latest released are EP600 and B500, which inherit this excellent tradition.

The BLUETTI EP600 solar battery

EP600

BLUETTI EP600 has a modular design that will reduce size and weight. It incorporates inside a 6000W bidirectional inverter for AC input and output, which provides AC power at 230/400 V for its operation, powering each and every one of the appliances. Additionally, the EP600 also supports up to 6000W solar input from 150V to 500V.

With 99,9% MPPT solar efficiency, you can charge the solar panel array with sunlight. As an expansion battery, the B500 model is tailor-made for the EP600 system, who will accompany this team. It features an ultra-durable 4.960Wh battery, aluminum alloy appearance and exactly the same size as the EP600 system.

All EP600s support up to 16 battery modules for a total capacity of 79,3kWh, which can cover all home or off-grid power needs for days or even more than a week. The EP600 and B500 can be stacked orderly to save space, thus having room to put other things.

The battery, an important pillar

Generally speaking, solar power system includes solar panels and a solar generator with expansion batteries. These types of panels efficiently collect sunlight and convert it into electricity that can be stored in batteries for use, making it possible to use solar energy even after sunset or on those cloudy days. It also provides a solution to access sustainable energy while reducing the carbon footprint on our planet.

When it comes to getting rid of high electricity bills or preparing for unexpected power outages or even disasters that happen at the time, this energy storage system will be that backup power source, all this in a solid way and being able to give a point of light to any device in the home.

Stand out in the market

home energy storage system It has been introduced for years and has really made a difference in our lives. Now numerous varieties and sizes are available.

Compared with other existing solar generators on the market, BLUETTI EP600 comes with a hybrid inverter system, which means that all you need is to connect the solar panels to the solar generator. A solar inverter or MPPT controller is required.

Availability and price

It is reported that some countries and areas have taken drastic measures to alleviate the energy crisis gripping Europe, especially looking ahead to the coming winter. To alleviate power shortage, BLUETTI claim that the EP600 and B500 system will soon be available before the arrival of this winter in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia.

Pre-order is expected to start before November on the official BLUETTI website. you can get to subscribe here to get an early bird price and stay updated with the latest news about BLUETTI's new solar energy system.

As for the price, although it has not been finally decided, a highly recommended combination: the EP600+2*B500 will cost
€ 8.999 euros, as confirmed by James Ray, Marketing Director of BLUETTI.
