Participate in the Minecraft Pocket Edition beta program

Mojang just announced the beta program for Minecraft Pocket Edition via Google Play to be able to test the latest news of the pocket version of the famous Minecraft.

Minecraft Pocket Edition has incorporated different improvements in both versions such as armor, life bar, enemies such as the creeper or the possibility of being able to use TNT. Although the only handicap that this pocket version for mobile devices has is the delay between new updates, very different from what is seen in the desktop version of the PC that every little bit picks up a new version, even having the possibility of installing the "snapshot" weekly.

If you want to try more features of this great game for Android, now you can participate in the beta program from Google Play. You can help to test the news and even give feedback about new features for future versions of Pocket Edition.

For participate in the beta program you have to request it from this link of the Minecraft PE Test Group and follow the instructions that you will find. When you are already a participant, your application will be updated to the latest available version of Pocket Edition, whether you are in the beta or not, so do not worry if you want to remove yourself from the beta phase of Minecraft PE.

While you are playing the beta version, this will not be compatible with the existing version of Pocket Edition. If you go back from beta to stable, the world could be corrupted. The beta worlds will always work with the final version.

At the moment this beta phase of Minecraft Pocket Edition will be limited to a certain number of users, so if you do not receive the invitation to it, do not despair, at some point they will increase the limit.

In this same announcement, Mojang has taken the opportunity to report that before Christmas version 0.8.0 will arrive for Minecraft Pocket Edition.
