On Android we have a wide variety of apps to go on a trip. And between them a good number of travel guides that will scare us in case we have to replace Google Trips. This app will disappear this summer, so we bring you some possible replacements.
We are going to dedicate this post to dedicated appsto be travel guides, so we put aside those that are valid for flights, hotels and many others that involve more categories and other posts to talk about them.
My Cloud
Una Spanish app and what a whole community is in itself that with their own photos they have created a wonderful travel guide to know all those places that you may want to know. It has a great mobile app, so we invite you to get to know it before going on vacation this summer. One of the essentials and it is entirely in Spanish.
Michelin Travel
The Michelin travel guide is another of those great apps, although not as well received as one might expect. It has 30.000 POIs in 80 countries reviewed by their own authors, so if you are looking for those quality places to eat, hotels and more, it is another of those apps that you must try or have installed if you are going to give yourself a good trip.
Guides by lonely planet
We are before our own travel guide as we know them. That is we can access offline maps, audio notes of the sites, currency converter and even advice from expert travelers to know the cities from cover to cover. It is not in Spanish, but if you handle the Anglo-Saxon language it is the guide of guides. Highly recommended to know those special sites in hundreds of destinations that it has dedicated. A free app like the rest.
Culture Trip: Explore & Travel
Another app in English, but well recommended for its expert guides to more than 300 destinations worldwide. You can find videos, special recommendations from local experts, and even create lists of favorite destinations to follow. Another of those special apps as a travel guide so you don't miss the most important places in all the cities you are going to visit this summer.
GetYourGuide: tickets and tours
Una app in Spanish that is mainly dedicated to booking activities while we are traveling. We put the destination we want to go to and we will find guided tours, skip-the-line tickets and all kinds of attractions. Being dedicated to tickets, without missing that essential information about sites, you can even receive them on your mobile to present them at the entrance without having to do anything else.
PackPoint
The exception app from the list and we can simply call it like your suitcase of luggage so as not to leave you nothing at home. It is practically a free organizer of luggage lists so that you do not miss anything on those trips that you are going to take. The idea is that it organizes the suitcase for you according to the trip you are going to take and the destination, even with the activities you are going to do. This app is also in Spanish, so luxury.
visit city
Another travel guide that has in total more than 1.000 guides created by experts. You can access them offline and navigate between the different locations by being able to create your own personalized travel plan. An interesting app that we add to this list so that you have it more difficult.
World Travel Guide by Triposo
A great travel guide, albeit in English, and which is characterized for being totally offline and being free. It has to its credit more than 50.000 destinations and each of the largest cities can be seen to be downloaded to take the information with us in a great travel guide for our Android mobile, have you already packed your suitcase?
