We premiere video section in Androidsis in which we will regularly present to you Non-recommended applications for your Android. Applications that do not work well, applications that are full of invasive ads or applications that simply are not what they seem or do not offer us what they initially promise us.
In this first video-post I love you "Do not recommend" an application that promises us the user interface of the native iPhone music application, which by the way it fulfills a good part, although in many of its added functionalities or its operation in general it is an ordeal to battle with it on a day-to-day basis. What do you want to know what application it is and how bad it is to not recommend it, much less install it on your Android? So I recommend that you do not miss the video that I leave below.
The application in question today I do not want to recommend, much less advise after using it for more than a week on my Android terminal, it is none other than iMusic - Music Player For OS 13 - XS Max Music from developer IOSLegend Store. An application that is directly in the Google Play Store and that has a score of 3.6 out of 45 stars although I personally would not give it even two stars.
In the video that I have left you right at the beginning of these lines, I show you in a very visual way Everything I don't like about the application and also some other thing that I do like, as its achieved user interface like iOS. Too bad about the serious malfunctions, otherwise it would be a good application to recommend for anyone who likes this kind of applications that simulate other interfaces from other brands !!
It is because of everything I tell you in the video that I can only do, although I love the app's user interface and some of its added features, that I can't recommend installing it until the developers get down to work and solve these serious shortcomings.
Summary of the most important things I don't like about the app
- Jams many times when starting music playback, it is not heard until after a good time, sometimes you even have to kill the application up to three or four times for the playback to work.
- Although it connects seamlessly with the car's Bluetooth, it still has a hard time starting playback and it does not support the steering wheel controls to pause / play or advance to the next song or go to the previous one. This is something that has never happened to me with a music player application for Android.
- There is no notification in the status bar, notification bar to control the current playback without having to open the application in the foreground.
- When selecting the graphic style of equalization, when exiting the current playback or leaving the app in the background when re-entering it disappears.
- It does not filter well the folders in which we have .nomedia files and that is a very annoying thing since the audio files appear in the music library.
I have not put the full-screen advertising thing as a reason not to install the application since we understand that application developers do not work for the love of art. What's more In this application the advertising is very, very restrained and it does not become excessive or annoying at all.
