Apple is working on its foldable smartphone with Samsung screens

Sometimes being the first in a market allows you become a reference, but not always especially if things are done well. A clear example is found in WhatsApp, the first messaging application to hit the market, an application that continues to maintain its leadership position since it was launched in 2012.

Another case, at least for now, we find with folding smartphones. Samsung was the first manufacturer to launch a folding smartphone on the market, followed by Huawei with the Mate Motorola with the RAZR. This year it has launched two new models, including quite a few improvements over the first generation.

Samsung continues to improve the quality and performance of its folding displays, and wants to become the main supplier of all phone manufacturers. And for now it seems that it is succeeding, at least if we take into account the latest publication of Ice Universe on the Chinese social network Weibo.

According to Ice Universe, Samsung is shipping a large number of flexible displays to Apple so that this continues the development of what will be in the future (not very close) the folding iPhone. Last year some rumors were published that Apple was working on this type of smartphone, in fact, it registered different models.

What seems to be clear is that the design of the Galaxy Z Fold2 is the model to follow, folding inwards and not outwards as is the case with the Huawei Mate X that folded inwards, showing the screen on the outside.

A few months ago, the Asian company recognized which the design to follow is the one used by Samsung, as it protects the inside of the screen against possible shocks or falls that the device may suffer.
