WhatsApp MD, the Material Design version of WhatsApp for Android

Before starting with this post, I feel obliged to tell you that This is not the official WhatsApp application for Android, If not, it is a "mod" or modification of the original application to give it the complete Material Design style that so many users demand and that at the moment WhatsApp has not implemented in its official app. Likewise, tell them that if WhatsApp considers it appropriate, it could block the accounts of users who choose to use this unofficial whatsapp mod.

So you are warned. Next, I will comment on the main novelties that we are going to achieve after the installation of WhatsApp DM o WhatsApp Material Design, the unofficial modified WhatsApp app with all the Material Design aspect that the official WhatsApp application should already have.

What does WhatsApp MD, WhatsApp Material Design offer us?

WhatsApp DM offers us the user experience Material Design that the WhatApp for Android application in its original version denies us to users. A user experience in which we can see the complete remodeling of the application's own icons, as well as the profile photos of our contacts that already appear in the form of circles as enjoyed by Android 5.0 Lollipop users on the original WhatsApp application for Android.

In turn we have the new floating button that appears at the bottom right of the application, with which we can create a new chat, new group or new broadcast message.

In the attached images we cannot see if the new options for connect to WhatsApp via WhatsApp Web, although the application has a internal update system, which promises to notify us of the new available versions of WhatsApp DM.

How do I install WhatsApp MD on my Android terminal?

If you have understood the risk of using unauthorized versions of WhatsApp for Android, which happens for blocking your user account, and still you are interested in installing WhatsApp MD, below I explain how to install this version of WhatsApp Material Design Step by Step:

The first of all will be from the original version of WhatsApp for Android, in the option of Settings / Chat settings, select the option Save conversations to create our backup of all currently open chats.

The second of all will be to go to the settings of our Android terminal and in the section Applications / uninstall WhatsApp for Android.

Once this is done, we download the latest version of WhatsApp MD from this same link and install it manually. Remember that to do this we must have permissions enabled to install applications from unknown sources from the Security option.

Once the application is installed WhatsApp DM, we will only have that restore backup previously made to enjoy this new Look of the WhatsApp application in the purest Material Design style.
