[APK] Finally Hangouts adds support for video messages in the new version

Hangouts

While we continue to hope that at some point the two new messaging apps from Google, Allo and Duo, will arrive this summer, today we have a new update for an app that seems to have taken a back seat, Hangouts. That app from which everything was expected and that finally it was rather halfway than it should have been.

Hangouts 11 has finally added the video messaging. This ability has been offered by the iOS version for some time now, and the reason why the Android version did not have it was not understood. An update that you can access through the APK that we share at the end of the post, in case you don't want to wait for the new version to arrive through the Google Play Store.

This new capacity has been present since video camera button which, when pressed, allows us to record the seconds we want. When we are done, we confirm the submission so that the video begins to load with a progress bar. The curious thing about this capacity is that you have to use a player external to Hangouts to be able to play the video that we have sent. The length of the video seems to be greater in the Android version than in the iOS version, where there is only the limit of 2 minutes.

One detail to keep in mind for this app, updated a month ago too, which had its moment and that now, because Google is preparing the launch of two more precise apps in its objectives, it is in the background for certain reasons and times. Nor is it that video messaging will save it, but it is a detail to add for those users who have this app for certain daily tasks.

Remind you that the APK It is the 64-bit version. Download the APK from here.

The app was not found in the store. 🙁
