Android L is finally Lollipop and will arrive in the next few weeks

How expected and I have already warned you from here Androidsis, launch of the new Nexus 6 or the new Nexus 9, has been without prior notice or any event in which to boast about new and incredible latest generation devices. A few press releases and publications on their official blogs have served to let us know the new and long-awaited Google devices that arrive with the new and renewed version of Android L, an L to which we can finally complete the name since finally the most famous lollipop on the planet has taken the lead and Lollipop will be the name of Android version 5.0.

A version of Android Lollipop that will begin to unfold from next November 3, I mean two and a half weeks from now and coinciding with the launch of the new Nexus 9 and the first deliveries of the product for those who reserved it from October 17.

As for this new version of Android Lollipop, little can we say that has not been said before, a new version of Android that what is sought is the unification of all applications in the style known as Material Design, a style based on colors flat and lively on a white background that give it a totally renewed look.

Likewise, one of the main improvements or functions of this new version of Android, which will begin to arrive in the coming weeks, starting with Google's Nexus range, of course, can be seen in its multitask and in the approach to unify Adroid apps together with Chrome apps in what will become the convergence of the two operating systems of the great G.

On the other hand, one of the issues that has been talked about the most in recent months is the battery saving functionality that will come to us with this new version of Android 5.0 or Android Lollipop. An operating system that would be tuned to the maximum for optimize the resources of Android terminals and thus get the maximum potential of them, while saving on battery consumption.

We will have to wait to see all these new changes directly in our compatible Android terminals, which in the case of companies like Samsung, LG, Sony, etc, etc, we will have to arm ourselves with patience and wait, probably as of the second quarter of 2015 so that they begin, with good luck to update the denominated flagships of these companies.
