[APK] The new Android 5.0 Lollipop camera

We continue with the wave of Updated Google Apps for Android 5.0 Lollipop and taken directly from the factory image released last Friday for the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 terminals. Yesterday we shared with all of you the new Google Play Games Material Design, or the new Google keyboard app, Android 5.0 Google Keyboard, now we are going to do the same with Google's new Android 5.0 Lollipop camera that will work for us in other versions of Android.

In principle I have tried it in Android 4.4.2 And the truth is that following the tutorial that I will explain below, all the camera functions work perfectly, including the panoramic mode or Photosphera mode. This new version of the Google camera is supposed to work on Android versions 4.1 and up, although I personally cannot assure you since I have not been able to test it. For anyone who tries to install it on an Android version lower than Kit Kat, it is best to first make a backup copy of the APK itself and the lib file that we are going to crush in the installation process.

How do I install this new version of Google Camera for Android 5.0 Lollipop?

The first thing of all will be to download this ZIP compressed file and unzip it anywhere on your PC:

[APK] The new Android 5.0 Lollipop camera

For example, I have unzipped it directly in the desktop of my Windows PC:

[APK] The new Android 5.0 Lollipop camera

Now we will copy the two resulting files to the internal or external memory of the terminal in which you want to install it:

[APK] The new Android 5.0 Lollipop camera

I, for example, have copied them into the folder Downloads in a new folder called new Google Camera:

[APK] The new Android 5.0 Lollipop camera

Now first of all we will execute the apk, for this we will only have to click on it having activated the permissions to be able to install applications from unknown sources or outside the Google Play Store:

Now we go back to the folder where we copy the two files and copy the file  liblightcycle.sor to paste it in the path:

/data/app-lib/com.google.android.GoogleCamera-2

To finish we click on the file just pasted, and proceed to change the permissions as I show you in the following images:

To finish and that the Google camera for Android 5.0 Lollipop works as it should in other different versions of Android, we just have to restart our Android terminal.

You have to enable read and write permissions in file explorer.
