The first images of Android 5.0 Lollipop on the LG G3, nice way to load up an update!

The first images of Android 5.0 Lollipop on the LG G3, nice way to load up an update!

For a long time we have been talking about the new version of Android and the update intentions for its different terminals, from the different manufacturing companies in the sector. Well, now we not only know supposedly, when the new version of Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3, but we also have the first images of L's own interfaceG Optimus UI loading this long-awaited Android update.

In the plans of the Korean multinational, at least those that we have been able to know so far, they tell us that they intend for the LG G3, which we remember is the current flagship of the company, get your fix to Android 5.0 Lollipop before the end of this year 2014, thus becoming, probably, the first company, behind Motorola and its Moto X 2014, in updating a terminal to this new version of the operating system of the nice Andy.

As for the first images that would have been leaked from Android 5.0 Lollipop on the LG G3, as we can see in these captures of LG's horrendous new interface, an interface called Optimus UI that does not contribute anything useful to the operating system, in fact, instead of providing new features and increasing the user experience that pure Android offers us, far from that, this interface hinders the user experience to the fullest extent.

The first images of Android 5.0 Lollipop on the LG G3, nice way to load up an update!

A good example of this, and I am not going to use Launcher itself as an example since it is easy to replace using downloading and installing another launcher from Google Play itself. Is the mediocre and useless notification bar that the company has implemented or tweaked to your liking for this new version of Android 5.0 Lollipop on the LG G3.

A notification curtain that far from being more functional than the one that comes by default in Android lollipop, is modified by the LG developers, removes the double curtain of the pure Android versions that we remember has one for the Toggles and another for the notifications themselves. Putting them together in one, with a horrible appearance that totally dislodges in what comes to be the Material Design ideology, which Google has implemented in this caramelized version of Android that is yet to come.

In short, we will continue to complain so that brands try to improve what is already good in Android, instead of all these cases such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Huawei and so many other manufacturers, which instead of further beautify and optimize your own interfaces to add value to your brand, all they do is get in the way of updates as well as the own user experience of all the clients who have trusted them to choose a new Android terminal.

That horrible single curtain ... is the one that google has put into lollipop. You missed taking a look at lollipop before writing the article, I think, Hehe.

    1.    Francisco Ruiz said

I have it more than seen friend and the curtain of the Toggles or shortcuts to Android 5.0 system functions It has nothing to do with this of the LG G3.

      Greetings friend.

What is horrible is the design of your blog and your logo.

    1.    murphy said

And what did you expect? If all manufacturers have been putting their own layer of notifications since android 1.5, is now LG's fault? You can see the bile from 1 km male, in addition, you yourself have been retracted, since in the images that you have put it you can see how 2 curtains can be deployed, one without the toggles and another with the toggles, such as in lollipop, the only difference is its appearance, differentiating in each company due to its own customization, but not different in function.

Nice way to criticize without knowing. Many things that the lg g3 currently has will be new in android l. I have a nexus 5 with the android preview and a g3, so I know what I'm talking about. Please, information before writing

I do not understand what says that the double blind has been loaded and has put everything together in one if images 2 and 3 clearly show that it is not like that, he is criticizing without having a clue. hahahahaha too much that is a preview I do not think it is finished.

AND AS THEY HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU WHAT IS UGLY IS THE LOGO AND DESIGN OF THIS WEB

    1.    Francisco Ruiz said

Look a little bit and you will see how the functionality of the Android Pure double blind has been fully loaded as they always do with their customization layers.
Here you can see it And you explain to me if that is a double curtain like that of pure Android or is a real interface shit.

      Greetings friend.

I also have an LG G3 and no one criticizes how good the terminal is or the exclusive functions that it comes with as standard. The only thing I'm criticizing, always from my point of view as a user, is LG's horrible user interface that hinders the user experience that Android Pure offers us, in addition to delaying official updates a lot.
Do you still think that Android 5.0 Lollipop will be for the LG G3 before the end of this year ?. It already happened with the LG G2 and Kit Kat that was expected for the end of 2013, always according to LG, and in the end we got well into February 2014.

Greetings to all, even those who do not like the logo and design of the page.

That screenshot matches the one of my g3 with kit kat 4.4.2 and in case it is not known it is configurable and you can remove both the brightness and volume controls and the widgets that are seen, so that the notification bar remains clean.
My impression is that it has been written without knowing what it is written about, having said this without the intention of offending.

I agree with many of the comments, you have gone two towns, since LG's interface is ugly because it is, but that that it does not offer any value is more false than when you say that it offers less value than pure Android , since Android in its pure version is the cane in fluidity, but in functions it is more peeled than milk. If for you a launcher that allows you to change the icons of the apps, that allows you to lock and unlock with a double tap, that allows you to customize everything on your smartphone, if for you all that is not functional, I do not understand what you mean by functional your .

I really like your article Paco, but in this one you have done a lot and as everyone says, you have no idea what the concept of "useful" is in a personalization layer. No offense or anything, but you have not been anything objective in this article.

I'm sorry to tell you that it is more ugly than hitting a father, we will always have cyanogen

It is the most decadent article I have read on this page. They are criticizing for criticizing without having technical and objective criteria. They are very subjective in terms of customization, which is not an absolute truth that Pure Android is the best of the best and indisputable. Learn a little journalism and there you can give an objective article and not full of subjectivity typical of the writer. Sorry to read this

    1.    Francisco Ruiz said

I highly respect your opinion, friend Agustín, although I believe that at no time in this article has anyone been disrespected, I only give my opinion about what I think of LG's own interface, and that I already tell you that as a user LG G2 and LG G3, which for me are without hesitation for a minute two of the best terminals of the moment.
That the user interface is lousy does not mean that the terminal or its exclusive functions are. And as for the issue of official updates and leaving users stranded at the first change, not meeting the deadlines that they impose themselves for updates, giving dates that can not meet the simple reason of let the media echo it and give them the "look how well we're doing." What is uncertain or insulting about it? I only refer to the facts and what already happened with Kit Kat for the LG G2 that we were among the last to receive the promised update before the end of the year.

Anyway, you can be a user of any brand, you like their terminals but you don't like being constantly teased.

      Greetings friend.

Hello from here I want to send a greeting to all these bloggers in the middle of the road. There is a popular saying that is said in these cases "Being so stupid, it has to hurt" I would like to see what is the comparison that comes out of the lollipop working between terminals. Sincerely your real friends

  14.   oscar virviescas said

That the love for the other brands is not noticeable, because it does not criticize the crap of Samsung's interface that looks like a DOS window that is hotrible. At least lg put a flatter and nicer customization on it

Hello friend… Look, I also have a G3 for 3 months. I have tried it a lot and I can say that its interface is very customizable without the need for an extra app. I can also say that it is an interface totally inspired by Material Designe from the factory. That is why when Lollipop arrives, the change is not very noticeable. The only negative detail that I have seen is the constant lag of the transitions. Hope it improves with the update to 5.0. Everything else has enchanted me. Greetings from Chile.

Hello erix the charming one without a doubt all opinions are respected here, for that reason I am not going to delete this comment even if it weighs me, since if something you have proven to be is a total bad mannered and bad spoken.
As for the LG G3 update, I just have to congratulate LG for the tremendous effort it involves, with all the resources they have !!, which in just two months has been updated so minus the LG G3. Now let's see how long it takes for the rest of the upgradeable terminals like the LG G2.

    Greetings beast !!.

How about Francisco, I always had Nokia Symbian phones and lately with Windows Phone, in December I gave it up to go for an Android, specifically the LG G3, the phone is wonderful but as you say, the user experience, its interface is horrible, no I know a lot about Android so I want to ask you, is there a way to change the LG G3 even if it is the screen that appears when they call you or make a call? That screen that when you make a call only the photo of your contact appears in a small circle? I just received Lollipop and I thought I would change the interface, but oh disappointment, everything stayed the same, Thanks in advance for your suggestions, greetings.

Look in the Play Store for any Dialer replacement application, there are many and very good ones.

        Greetings friend.

Well, I don't like the new lollipop at all, the battery has gone from lasting two days to not even 24 hours, just because of that no longer interests me, what a shit, instead of moving forward we go back, and the interface either, full total.
Can you go back to Kitkat and if so, how? Thanks.

    1.    David said

Sure, flashing a kdz or installing a kit kat rom

Do you still think that Android 5.0 Lollipop will be for the LG G3 before the end of this year ?. Francisco Ruiz, I think LG has given you a Zas in all the mouth and by far, the G3 have been updated at the beginning of December, to say now as an excuse that they have not updated the G2 is a bit poor, since Lg has not said nothing of this model.
    A greeting.

The interface is horrible, I had it well organized on my asus phablet until this update arrived. I miss the simplicity of the Kitkat.

  20.   Lukas said

Without a doubt, kitkat is strange. One question, I have seen that the data consumption (SERVICE SO) in lolillop was raised in consideration in my lg g3, how do I stop that from happening? Regards.

I totally agree with your opinion Francisco Ruiz. The ones capable of customization are only to occupy storage space, slow down the mobile and take away the aesthetics that stock Android has.

I'm one of those who are forced to use unstable stock alternative androids because the stupid modifications of the brands and carriers ruin the official experience.
